SMITHFIELD MARKET QUOTATIONS.
(From Our London Correspondent.) LONDON, June 14. The Frozen Meat Trade Association report Smithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meats, based on actual sales of not less than 100 carcases of mutton or lamb and 25 quarters of beef of fair average quality. These quotations are for parcels fairly representative of shipments now on the market. New Zealand sheep, Canterbury, crossbred wethers, and maiden ewes, 481bs to 561bs -4Jd per lb, 561bs to 64lbs 4 3-16 d per lb, 64lbs to 72lbs 3gd per lb; North Island 551bs to 651bs 3 9-16 d per lb; best brands, 551bs to 65lbs, 3|d. Australian sheep, heavy crossbreds and merino wethers, 501bs to 6olbs, 3d per lb; light, 401bs to 501bs, 3|d; New Zealand la-nbs, Canterbury, 28lbs to 361bs, 5Jd per lb; 361bs to 421bs, s£d; 42lbs to 501bs, s|d per I'd; Southland, 28lbs to 421bs, 5 l-16d per lb; North Island, 281bs to 421bs, 5d per lb.
