EARTHQUAKES IN AUSTRALIA.
Received August 12, 10.15 a.m. PERTH, August 12. A slight earth tremor was experienced at Marblebar. It lasted fifteen seconds. Received August 12, 11.15 p.m. MELBOURNE, August 12. Another shock of earthquake, lasting several seconds, was felt at Camperdown on Saturday evening. Much alarm was shown by customers in shops owing to crockery rattling and hanging goods oscillating. No damage is reported.
