CARTLOAD OF NITROGLYCERINE EXPLODES. Received August 12, 9.44 p.ir;. OTTAWA, August 12. A cartload of nitro-glycerine exploded and wrecked the township of Essex, Ontario. Nine persons were killed, and many injured.
