A MIRACULOUS ESCAPE.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 12. A motor car, in which Mr Dexter, of the firm of Dexter and Crozier, was driving, collided with a tram while proceeding to Newmarket, last evening. The body of the car was almost completely smashed, although the engines were not seriously damaged. Mr Dexter and a boy, who accompanied him, miraculously es caped unhurt.
