Prince Borghese, the Italian competitor in the Pekin to Paris motor race, has arrived here. He was accorded a, triumphal reception, with a band and a procession of motor cars.

Goold twice violently attacked his fellow prisoners, and threw himself against the door of his cell, crying loudly to be let out. He was overpowered and ordered to be kept unier close observation. A number of bruises have been discovered on Mrs Goold's body, indicating a recent struggle.
