OUTRAGES IN NEW YORK.
SEVEN MORE REPORTED. Received August 8, 9 a.m. NEW YORK, August 1. There have been seven more assaults ob young girls and women in New Yock. Several arrests have been made, mostly of Italians. One victiim defended herself with a hat pin, and the ruffian who assaulted her was arrested. The Federated Labour Union asks ihe Mayor &f New York to adopt e.tringent measures, otherwise it will ask the State Governor to order thff enrolment of ten thousand special defectives.
