By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent.

RepJying to Mr F. La wry (Parnell), in connection with t\ie Rotorua railway accident, the Premier to-day informed the House that an enquiry into the accident would be held before District Judge Kettle. That would prevent any assumption on the part of the public or the railway employees that there might be anything unfair about the enquiry. The press would be admitted. This course, he said, was approved by the General Manager.
Mr T. M. Wilford (Hutt) suggested that if some such course were adopted in connection with the Railway Appeal Board it would go far to restore the confidence of employees in that body, and allay a good deal of irritation.
The Premier said that he would not go into that matter now as he had an important resolution to move.
