* Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., ( report on their Masterton stock sale i as follows: —Our yarding comprised | about 1,200 sheep, but very few I cattle. Bidding was dull and most of I the sheep were passed in under the , hammer, though a fair proportion j was sold subsequently by private j treaty. We quote:— Sound mouth j ewes in lamb from 16s to 18s, fat ewes 18s 2d, hoggetd lis 2d to 15s Bd. Cattle were hard to place. A , small line of cows and calves brought £2 2s.
