RAILWAY GRIEVANCES.

By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent. WELLINGTON, August 1. Mr R. B. Ross, M.H.R. for Pahiatua, organised a conference between the Executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants and Members of the House, this afternoon, to discuss the railway grievances. Thirty Members of the House and four of the Railway Executive attended. Good work was clone, and the matters decided upon will be shortly placed by a deputation before the Minister of Railways.
