METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall on the Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Wednesday was 4 points. Rain fell on 18 days in July; maximum in 24 hours 81 points on 15th; minimum, 2 points on sth and 16th; total for month, 3.22 inches, as against 2.97, 2.47 in, and 5.98 in for corresponding months in 1904, 1905, and 1906. Total for seven, months, 38.37 inches, against 23.38 in, 26.68 in, and 29.39 in for corresponding periods in 1904, 1905, and 1906.
