A SCOW ASHORE.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 29. The scow Reliance is ashore between Manukau Heads and Waikato. Tha crew all got ashore safely. The lighthousekeeper at Manaukau Heads reports that the Reliance is a«hore about seven or eight miles south of the entrance to the Heads. The scow spraijg a leak in the vicinity of the centre board, and to save her the captain ran her up on the beach in a safe position. The Reliance left Onehunga cn Wednesday last and anchored inside the Heads awaiting a favourable wind. She crossed the bar on Saturday bound for Raglan, with a load of timber.
