ACTION AGAINST A BANK.

By Telegraph—Press Association. FEILDING, July 26. The FeiMing Star states that a writ has been issued by E. A. Barton, late manager of the Bank of Australasia here, on behalf of himself and all other shareholders in the Hawke's Bay Timber Co., Ltd., against the Bank of Australasia, claiming moneys alleged to be due in connection with the relations and transactions of the bank with Richter, Nannestad and Co., and the Timber Co. The directors of the Timber Co. have been joined as codefendants. The case will probably be heard at the September sitting of the Supreme Court In Palmerston North.
