A CYCLIST'S COMPLAINT.
(To the Editor). Sir, —I have a few remarks to make about the way that we cyclists ride on the footpaths. I think that people ought to understand that the reason why we ride on the paths is dn account of the present state of the roads. On Saturday night I was walking along Lower Queen Street, near Mr Allpass' baker's shop. There was a man riding his bicycle as lai-ge as life and whistling for people to get out of his way so that he could get past. Where was the man in blue? I think that people with perambulators ought to have more sense than to stand in the middle of the footpaths blocking up the thoroughfare.—l am, etc., CYCLSTS BLAMED FOR ALL.
