Received July 18, 8.34 <i.m. PARIS, July 17. Captain Arnaud, of the French Colonial Infantry, travelled from Algiers to Kotonu, in Dahomey, across the Sahara desert, a distance of three thousand one hundred miles, in a hundred and twenty-seven days.
