The trial of one hundred and one soldiers chargod with becoming mutinous at Kieff, in South-west Russia, upon learning that the Duma had been dissolved, has concluded. Six of ths prisoners were sentenced to death, twelve to penal servitude for life, and the rest to long terms of imprisonment, excepting two, who were acquitted. A secret bomb factory at Odessa blew ui), seven persons being killed and thirteen wounded. The police searched the building, and discovered forty-seven bombs. THE SURRENDER OF PORT ARTHUR. Received ?July 18, 8.14 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, July 15. Details urs published of the indictments against Generals Stoessel, Fock, and Smirnoff, and Colonel Prince Reuss, who were tried in connection with the surrender of Port Arthur during the Russo-Japanese War. . " They were charged with making deliberate false leports of battles which never occurred, recommending for decorations their own friends, and other generals who lost battles or surrendered fortresses which had ample means of resistance. General Stoessel was also charged that he notified the Czar that Port Arthur was without ammunition, and could only hold out a few days, though the majority of the War Council declared that there was aiundant ammunition and that the place must be defended. STEAMER LOOTED. Received July 16, 9.55 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, July 16. Eighteen armed robbers captured and looted the steamer Sophia in f-.e Black Sea, The robbers escaped u boats with 50,000. roubles belonging to the Russian Bank.
