BISLEY RIFLE MEETINGS.

KEEN COMPETITION FOR THE KOLAPORE CUP. LONDON, July 12. In the shooting for the Kolapore Cup at the Bisley "Rifle Meeting, the Mother Country and Australia tied with 778 points each. The Mother Country takes the Cup, as her team mads the better score at 600 yards. Received July 14, 4.23 p.m. LONDON, July 13.

In the Kolapore Cup Canada scored 767, Guernsey 740, India 728. East Africa 718, Rhodesia 679. Australia receives £SO.

The. finish for the Kolapore Cup was most exciting. The Motherland finished fin,!:. Australia's last five shots were "bull's eyes." The score of a record for team shooting, beating the School Musketry, who made 775 in 1901. At 200 yards Australia led with 260, Guernsey and Canada having 257 and the Motherland 252. At 500 yards Canada totalled 524, Australia 523, Motherland 521. At 600 yards Motherland scored 257 against Australia's 255. The Duke of Connsught and Lord Roberts were present and watched the shooting.
