A.JAPANESE ARRESTED. NEW YORK, July 12. A Japanese has been arrested while making drawings of a fort at San JDiego, in California. ANOTHER ARREST MADE. INTENSE FEELING AT SAN DIEGO. JAPANESE QUARTERS THREATENED. THOUSANDS OF JAPANESE LABOURERS POURING INTO THE CITY. 'Received July 14, 4.6 p.m. NEW YORK, July 13. The Japanese who was arrested while drawing plans of the forts at San Diego, California, said he was an officer. His papers included a plan of everything useful in the event of an attack on the Pacific coast. A Japanese servant has also been arrested for having prints in his possession. There is intense feeling at San Diego. The Japanese quarters are threatened. Thousands of Japanese labourers employed en the railways and in the lemon groves are pouring into the city to offer resistance in the event of an attack feeing made ok the Japanese quarters. The newspapers in San Francisco state that the nmines stationed in the valley threaten to expel the Japanese from the town.. ; | i
