PALMERSTON NORTH COURSING CLUB.

By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., July 10. An entry of 55 dogs has been received for the Maiden Stakes at the inaugural meeting of the Palmerston North Coursing Club on July 16th and 17th. The new ground is situated almost opposite the Teri'ace End Railway Station, and is considered by experts to be one of the best in the colony. The Wellington, Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay districts are strongly represented in the nominations. Everything points to coursing becoming a firmly established and popular sport in this district.
