Rover A will be represented by the following team against Albions, at Carterton, this afternoon: — Masson, Spooner, Daley, Watson, McKenzie, Paget, P. Deller, C. Farbrother, T. Major. Harbott, H. Deller, Levick, Turiey, Crawley, Franks.
The following team will represent Masterton Seniors against Carterton, at Carterton, on Saturday next:— Fullback, M. O'Leary; threequarters, Duggan, J. O'Leary and Minett; five-eighths, Kinzett; half, Holmes; wings, Gray and Daniell; forwards, Barry, Fielding, C. Ross, Lyall, Mackellar, A. Ross and Spackman. The drag will leave White's at 1 p.m. sharp. The following team will represent Red Star Juniors against Ruahine, at Grey town, on Saturday next:— Smith, McKenzie, Easthope, Golder, Bannister, Langstone, McHattie, Ross, Galyer, Ball, Wing, Diggins, Williams, Welch, Flaws. Emergency —Morris. The drag will leave at 1.30 p.m. sharp. The forwards of the first New Zealand team to go on tour averaged 14st 21b eaVh. Robertson, of Otago, went 15st 21b; Jim Allen, Otago, 14st; T. B. O'Connor, Auckland, 14st 61b; O'Donnell, Otago,—fastest man in the team —14st 41b; Milton (captain), 14st 21b; and Webb, Wellington, 13st lib. Jack Lecky, of Auckland, was the lightest man in the team, weighing 12st. The members of the New Zealand team when on tour in Australia are t) receive 3s per day, "out-of-pocket expenses.
