CLEARING SALE
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on a clearing sale held on account of Mr F. T. Heard, at Opaki:—The sheep, being in good order and condition, elicited keen competition, and made the following prices:—Sheep —Two and four-tooth ewes 235, four-tooth to fresh-mouth ewes 22s 3d, cull ewes 15s, hoggets 12s lid, Romney rams 1 guinea.'. Cattle —Heifers in calf and with calves at foot 37s 6d to £2 2s 6d. Horses—Draught mares £3O to £37 10s, foals £5 to £lO 10s. Drays, farm implements, etc., at full rates.
