THE PYRAMUS. Received June 27, 4.25 p.m. SYDNEY, June 27. The naval authorities have been advised that the cruiser Pyramus has been floated off the reef, and has arrived at Cooktown.
RAILWAY ACCIDENT. Received June 27, 10.21 a.m. NEWCASTLE, June 27. An accident occurred on the Aberdare private line of railway. A van was derailed, and by a miracle crossed a bridge while in that condition. When it had got safely over the couplings broke, and the van was thrown across the line. The following passenger carriage was partially telescoped, and a passenger named Marshall was seriously injured, and another slightly.
NEW SOUTH WALES PASTORAL INDUSTRIES. Received June 27, 10.21 a.m. SYDNEY, June 27. The Premier (Mr Carruthers) states that the total value of the' pastoral production of New South Wales last year was £19,743,000, an increase of £5,018,000 on the figures for 1891. A third of the total came from wool.
