SOUTH ISLAND POULTRY SHOW.
By Telegraph—Press Association.
INVERCARGILL, June 26,
The South Island Championship Poultry Show opened here to-day. Its character may be best described in the words of Mr Maude, the wellknown Sydney judge. He says: "The show is the best ever held in Invercargill. It is far better than the Palmerston North Show last week. I have seen the entries for the Wellington show to-morrow, and this one beats it.
