HOME FOR INCURABLES.

CHRISTCHURCH, June 23,

A deputation from the Hospital Board and Charitable Aid Board waited on the Hon. G. Fowlds. yeserday, regarding the establishment of a home for incurables. The Minister said the Government would be glad to amend the law so as to enable the boards to raise funds for the purpose, suggested. He did not think there would be much difficulty in getting a short amending Act through the House during the coming session. It is proposed to add to the existing buildings, so as to provide a home for male incurables at Ashburton, and one for i'emales at Woolston.
