STOCK REPORT.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency C 0... Ltd., report on their fortnightly stock sale, at Eketahuna yesterday:— We penned a fair, average number of sheep for the season of the year, and the quality generally was good. Bidding for best sorts was fairly brisk, only two pens of inferior class failing to sell. The cattle entries were very limited, comprising cows and heifers, which were dull of sale. Best ewes in lamb made from 14s to 15s ; medium sorts lis to 12s, culls 8s to 10s. medium woolly lambs 12s, shorn 9s to 10s, a pen of fat wethers made 17s 7d.
