WRECK OF THE KIA ORA.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND. June 19. Inspector Cullen has received a telegram from Constable McCarthy, at Kawhia, who estimates that eight persons were drowned in the wreck of the Kia Ora. So far no bodies have been rceovered. It has been decided to hold an inquiry into the wreck of the Kia Ora in Auckland. It was thought at first it would be held in New Plymouth, but as most of the witnesses are here it has been decided to hold it here at a date not yet fixed.
