At a meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club it was decided to recommend'the incoming committee-to increase the stakes by £I,OOO for the ensuing season. The President (Hon. G. McLean) ar,d Mr P. Miller were appointed the club's delegates to the Racing Conference.
