L. Baggstrom, chief engineer; J. Petersen, chief' steward; W. Johnson, cadet steward; J. De Calmer, cock's boy; Miss Keller, stewardess; and Mr Partridge, a passenger, who is suffering from a broken leg, and a broken rib. The latter was transferred to the Rarawa in the afternoon, and left for his home at Eltham, via New Plymouth. Mrs Cox, was landed at Raglan. All bore signs of exposure. There is still doubt as to the number of persons drowned. The chief steward states that there were thirteen adults, a Maori boy and two children on board, besides nineteen of the ship's crew, making a total of thirty-five. He collected tickets after leaving Waitara, and only thirty-one have been accounted for. The stewardess commends the forti-* tude and forbearance of all, especially the women.
