By Association. AUCKLAND, June 15. The championship football matches were continued to-day. In the Senior grade City beat Parnell by 45 points to 6, Newton beat Graf ion by 8 to 6, Ponsonby beat JNorth Shore by 16 to nil. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 15. To-day's football matches resulted .as follows:—Alhambra defeated Pirates by 5 points to 3, Kaikorai beat Taieri Rovers by 11 points to nil, Zingari-Richmond beat Union by 12 points to nil, Southern and University played a drawn game, scoring 6 points each, Port Chalmers beat Dun•edin by 8 points to nil. All other matches were postponed, and snow .had to be cleared from the grounds to enable the Senior v fixtures to be played. The first now completed and the Southern have scored 17 points for the flag, Alhambra and University coming next with 12 points each. A match was played, at Carterton, on Saturday afternoon, between the , Red Star Juniors and Featherston Juniors. The Stars, who had the best of the game all through, won by 6 points to nil.
