ACCIDENT TO AN AUSTRALIAN. Received June IS, .9.15 a.m. CAPETOWN, June 13. J. R. Mack ay, the Australian .cricketer, was run over-by a motor cy 'lo in Johannesburg, and civaa seriously injured. (Mackay was loft out of the South African cricket team now at Home, because presumably, he is a. recent importation. There was a good deal of. controversy on the point, • his cricket merits both in New South Wales and in South Africa being generally conceded.
