UNITED STATES AND JAPAN.

.Received June 12, 12.53 a.m., WASHINGTON, June 11. There is much uneasiness in Washington at the disquieting tenor of the despatches from Tokio. There are indications that the Hon. W. H. Taft, Minister of War, will make a call of courtesy at Japan while proceeding to the Philippines, and the visit will become a mission of importance. The bellicose language is attributed to Viscount Tateki Tani, the leader of the Opposition, in a speech in the House of Peers at Tokio.
