*— — EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and C 0... Ltd., held fieir fortnightly sale at Eketahuna, o.i Friday, when there was a large entry of. both sheep and cattle. Although there was a good attendance of the public, bdding lacked spirit, and the bulk of the entries failed to change hands under the hammer. However, before the close of the day only two lines of sheep remained unsold, but the majority of cattle were passed out. A line of 400 fat and forward wethers sold at 17s, woolly hoggets lls-6d to lis 9d, shorn 9s 3d, fat ewes 15s 9d, forward ewes 12s 9d, aged ewes in lamb 10s, 18 months and 2 year steers 50s to 635, good springing heifers £5, aged cows with calves 3bs, fat and forward cows 61s to 70s, aged cows to 31s, early calves 235, trap mare £ls.
