A SMUGGLER BLOWS UP.
FIFTY PEOPLE KLLED. Received June 7, 7.49 a.m. TRIPOLI, June 6. A sailing vessel laden with ammunition intended to be smuggled into Tripoli blew up off Saris, on the coast of Tunis. It is reported that fifty persons were killed. One report states that the captain of the vessel blew her up rather than surrender to the French Tunisian authorities.
