By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 6. At Rotorua, on Wednesday, the thermal forces in Whakarewarewa Valley were showing great activity. Lately some speculation has been caused in the district as to the reason for the sudden rising in Tikitapu, ii beautiful blue lake near Wairoa, the level having risen some twenty feet within a comparatively short time. On the other hand, Lake Rotorua's level has fallen.
