TAIHAPE-MATAROA RAILWAY.

TAIHAPE, June 1,

The section of the Taihape-Mata-roa Railway was formally opened by Mr Remington, Member for Rangitikei, this afternoon. Several congratulatory speeches were made. A telegram was read from the Hon. R. McNab, Acting-Minister for Railways, regretting his absence from the official opening, and also the Acting-Premier.
