WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.
The Wellington Land Board met on Thursday. There were present : Messrs J. Strauchon (Commissioner of Crown Lands), A. Reese, J. Dawson, and J. M. A'Court. The following transfers were approved on the usual conditions:— Sections 31 and 34, block 9, Mount Cerberus, J. Gibson to 11. E. Hill; section 21, block 15, Mangaone, 0. Petersen to F. W. Wood; section 74, block 1, Makuri, *G. Garry to A. Buttors; section 33, block 4, Mangahao, M. Parker to R. Mathers; section 13, block 8, Mount Cerberus, A. Groves to C. H. Swan; section sb, block 6, Mount Cerberus, LI. Moore to E. Campbell; section .52, block 8, Mangahao, trustees in H. D. Roscoe estate to W. J. Sedcole; section 15, block 4, Mangahao, .[. McConaghty to J. Baird; section 2, Rakanui Village Settlement, G. Jansson to C. P. McCloskey; section 20, block 15, Mangaone, H. P. Pndersen to M. A. Berney; section 15, block 1, Mangaone, A. Lankey; section 70, block 10, Mangaone, F. W. Corbjin to W. A. Cittadine; section 16, block 4, Mangaone, A. Reay to Mrs L. C. Fraser; section 39, block 4, Mangahao, A. Beetham to Annie Ueay; section 1, Upper Makuri Village Settlement, H. Harris to J. M. MacCorquodale; section 15, block 11, Makuri, G. H. Fulchert to M. Quillinan (subject to residence conditions).
D. Fraser was allowed to transfer section 9, block 1, Mangahao, to E. H. Busby, subject to transfer of section 8 being first registered. J. T. Redpath's application to transfer section 8, block 1, Mangahao, to E. H. Busby was approved. The recommendation of the Ranger regarding the transfer of part of section 10, block 16, Wairarapa( Dyer Settlement), to the Otaraia Co-oper-ative Dairy Co., Ltd., for a factory site was adopted and the application approved on the usual conditions. John Ham's application to transfer section 14, to P. Halliday, was not approved, but the transfer of section 19, block 6, to the same transferee was agreed to. D. Pickering's application to transfer sections 19 and 20, block 4*, Mt. Cerberus to G. Anderson was approved. The Board refused: P. Brady's application to transfer sections 15a and 17, block 4, Mt. Cerberus, to J. D. Gupwell; C. Reed's to transfer sections 10, 11 and 14a, block 9, Mt. Cerberus, to Mrs L. B. Davidson; J. N. Baton's to transfer section 51, block 10, Mt. Cerberus, to Joseph Cbatfield; E. H. Diffey's to transfer section 13, block 11, Manganui, to Mrs S.. A. Savage; G. A. Burling's (jnr), to transfer section 14, block 10, Mt. Cerberus, to W. E. K. Burling (latter being ineligible); W. E. K. Burling's to transfer section 15a, block 1, Aohanga, to S. J. Wuatherley, (ineligible). The following sub-lease was approved of: Section 38, block 7, Tararua, C. H. Fisher to H. Hanson. The following conversions of tenure were approved':. Section 30, block 18, Mangahao, G. Durham; section 62, Hastwell Village Settlement. C. B. Seymour; section 58, block .8, Mangahao, F. Stokes.
