The Conference has finished its discussion on the advisability vQf closer co-operation in the recognition of certificates admitting to courses of study in universities, technical schools, and agricultural colleges. Mr S. H. Butcher, M.P. for Cambridge University, thought the whole matter must be worked out by ar- " rangement. ' Sir Philip Sydney Jones, Vica - Chancellor of the University of Sydney, thought other universities might imitate Sydney's liberal concessions to the undergraduates and graduates of other universities.
