ATTACK ON KING ALFONSO.

TRIAL OF SUSPECTS. Received May 30, 8.48 a.m. MADRID, May 29. Five judges, without a jury, are about to try men and women who are alleged to have conspired to assassinate King Alfonso on his wedding day. The accused are:—Ferrer, Cuesta, Wakens, Majaal, Matinez, Mata, and the latter's wife. (When King Alfonso and Queen Ena were returning after their marriage on May 31st, 1906, a bomb thrown at their carriage killed or injured a number of people. According to one account tnirteen soldiers and eleven civilians were killed and numbers were injured. Manuel Duran, alias Mateo Mural who committed suicide, after shooting a policeman, was the supposed thrower of the bomb. Other arrests were made.)
