PUBLIC ABATTOIR.
By Telegraph—Press Association. THAMES, May 29. The Borough Council have decided to apply for a lean of £2,500 under the Loans to Local Bodies Act for the establishment of a public abattoir. It is stated that the Veterinary Department had notified that the present premises, which are a public abattoir with powers of the Council delegated to a private firm, were unsuitable.
