FOOTBALL.
An interesting match was played at Nireaha, on Saturday, between the Nireaha and Mangatainoka Clubs for the Bush District Championship. The game, which was finished in semidarlrness, terminated in a draw both Bides scoring a try. The score obtained by Nireaha was the result of a clever piece of passing. Irom a scrum the ball come to P. Quinlan, who sent it along to W. Young, the latter beating three or four men before transferring it to Thompson, the wing threequarter, who scored an easy try.
