FATAL ACCIDENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. GREYMOUTH, May 23. A fatal accident occurred at the State coal mine, this afternoon, whereby a young- lad named Stanley Wagsmith lost his life. The lad was employed, as a screen boy, and got his arm caught in the travelling belt. He was terribly injured, and died half-an-hour after. The deceased was 16 years of age.
