N.Z. RUGBY UNION.

By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 16. At the meeting of the Management Committee of the New, Zealand Rugby Union, to-night, a letter was received from the Hawke's Bay Union protesting against the Wairoa sub-union being attached to Gisborne. Consideration of the matter was deterred for a week. It was decided that for the North and South Island match seventeen men be picked for each team, allowing an emergency back and forward. For the New Zealand team to visit Australia it was decided to send twenty-two men.
