WELLINGTON SUPREME COURT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 13. At the Supreme Court, to-day, the Grand Jury returned no bill in the case of Matilda Morris, charged with child murder at Otaki. George Erneßt Kelly, who had previously been convicted of being an idle and disorderly person, pleaded not guilty to being a rogue and vagabond and the. consort of reputed thieves. The jury returned a verdict of guilty. The prisoner, who had been in gaol awaiting trial for'two months, was sentenced to four additional months' imprisonment. Ada Smith was found guilty, with a recommendation to mercy, on a charge of receiving stolen property, and was remanded till to-morrow.
