AMERICAN TINNED MEATS.
Received May 7, 8.40 a.m. 1 LONDON, May 6. The War Office, in a circular, states'that the reports of officers who were specially sent to America, have satisfied the Army Council that the quality of the meat used and the conditions under which it is prepared and canned by the firms supplying it, are in every way satisfactory.
