May 7. ~ The Marine Board has arrived at a decision iri the case o£ the barque Norma, which was sunk in Port Adelaide, ; while at anchor, by the ship Ardencraig, with the ultimate result that (the steauxr Jessie Darling foundered by getting foul of the sunken barque, while the steamer Poit Chalmers tufieied much damage ( through the same cause. The Marine Board found that the captain of the ship Ardencraig failed to-navigate his vessel with sufficient care in view of the weather conditions. The finding has been forwarded to the Board of Marine Enquiry. MR CARRUTHERS WILL REDUCE TAXES. ' •• Received May 7, 8.34 a.m. SYDNEY, May 7. Fiv6 members of the Coal Lumpers' Union have been arrested, in connection with the disturbance on Wednesday, charged with using violence to prevent free labourers working at their occupation. Two of the accused were sentenced to three months' imprisonment each, cne to a month's imprisonment, and one to seven days' hard labour. The fifth man was fined £2.,
