UNITED v. W.F.C.A. Despite the unfavourable weather yesterday a number of hockey enthusiasts turned out and a match of seven aside was played at Lansdowne, between the United and W.F.C.A. Clubs. Considering the condition of the ground the game was very fast and interesting. The game resulted in a win for United by ?.0 goals to 8. Williams scored 8 goals and Baker 2 goals for the winners. For the W.F.CA., La Roche scored 7 goals and Pragnell 1 goal. CARTfeRTON v. GREYTOWN. By Telegraph—Special to Age. GREYTOWN, May 2. A hockey match was. played, today, at Greytown, between the newlyformed Greytown Men's Club and Carterton, and resulted in favour of the latter by 8 goals to 4. LADIES* ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Ladies'jHockey Association was held, yesterday afternoon, in Knox Smday School-room. £ Delegates Ware present from Greytown, Garry C wen, Huia, Glengarry, and District B igh School Clubs. The report and balance sheet were road and adopted, the latter showing a credit balance of £2 3s 3d. The election of officers for the ens .ing season resulted as follows: I resident, Mr W. C.
