MASONIC INSTALLATION.
The installation of Bro. F. J. Hunn, aad the investiture of the officers of the Masterton Masonic Ledge took place, last evening, in the presence of a very large number of craftsmen, including representatives from the various sister lodges and visitors from, the North and South Islands, and Australia. The installing officer was Rt. W. Bro. R. Fletcher, Grand Superintendent, assisted by Bro. H. J. Williams, P.G.M., W. Bro. Gordon Eliott, P.M., director of ceremonies, and past and present officers of sister lodges. The musical portions of the ceremonies were, as is usual with the Masterton lodge, exceptionally well rendered under the conductorship of Bro. A. Russell. The following are the officers for the current year:—W.M., Bro. F. J. Hunn; LP.M., W. Bro. A. Nicol; D.M., W. Bro. G. Hyde; S.W., Bro. A. E. Winzenberg; J.W., Bro. A. B. Charters; Chaplain, Bro. Foss; Treasurer, Bro. T. Wagg; Secretary Bro. R. J. Young; D.C., W. Bro. Gordon Eliott, P.M.; S.D., Bro. A. M. Johnson; J.D., Bro. J. Tait ; 1.G., Bro. J. Cochrane; Stewards, Bros. McDougall, and A. Hoar; Tyler, Bro. W. Robins. At the conclusion of the ceremony the brethren adjourned to St. Matthew's Schoolroom, where an excellent banquet was served. The usual loyal and Mdsonic toasts were proposed and responded to. Songs were sung by Bros. A. B. Charters, F. J. Hunn ?nd T. R. Mannell. A recitation was given by Bro Baillie.
