METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Wednesday was 2.16 inches. Mr J. Ci Jjßoddingtdn reports that rain fell''on; the Upper Plain on 18 days in April. Maximum fall, 61 points on 17th and • 56 points on#2nd and (26th. Minimum fall, 2 points on Ist, 12th, 25th, anc) 30th.* Total for month, 3.30 inches,' as against 3.08 inches, 3.03 inches, and 2.99 inches in 1904, 1905, and 1906 respectively. Total for four mpnths, 20.17 inches, as against 11.89 inches, 9.60 inches, and 14.64 inches for 1904, 1905, and' 1906, respectively.
