SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
The following committee has bscn elected at Eketahuna:—Messrs Kershaw, Griffiths, Waldio, Pelling, Vile, Walker, and Prendeville. At a subsequent meeting of the new Committee Mr F. D. Peiling was elected chairman,'arid Mr K. G. Vile secretary. 1 The following committee was elected at the meeting of householders at Hamua on Monday evening:— Messrs Tuckwell, Ogden, Galvin, Seavers, Johansoh, Hercock and Willis. The following were electad a School Committee at Newman for the ensuing year: —Messrs P. Calton, A. Syversen, P. Voigt, F. McManue, J. Cooper, T. Youle, and H. Fredricksen. Mr F, Calton was elected chairman and Mr Syversen secretary. MAURICEVILLE. The annual meeting ofjj local householders was held on Monday night. Mr R. Brooks occupied the chair. The balance-sheet read by Mr C. Brooks , secretary to the Committee, for fourteen years, showed: Balance, £4 8s 9d; capitation, £3; total, £1 8s 9d. The following were elected a Committee for 1907:—Messrs W. Fisher, J. Jorgensen, R. Brooks, C. Brooks, A. Weston, J. Mutrie, J. Carroll. Mr R. Brooks was re-elected Chairman of the Committee. The Committee will meet .on the first Monday of every month. MAURICEVILLE WEST. The election of the Mauriceville West Shcool Committee resulted as follows:—Messrs C. Forsberg (reelected), W. Jessen (re-elected), E. Pedersen (re-elected), J. Roigard (re-electeci), A. Larsen, E. W. Nielsen, W. Pedersen. Mr W. Jessen was elected Chairman and Secretary. GLADSTONE. The following is the new Committee,: —Messrs H. S. Mason (chairman), James Parsons, H. Oates, E. A. Gray, W. Day, Ales;. Grant, - J. Strang. WAIHAKEKE. . The following were elected a School Committee at Wahakeke:—Messrs C. Anderson (chairman), W. Hercock, A. Jensen, F. Burson, C. Stevens, F. Court. GREYTOW'N. The following were elected as a School Committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs C. J. Beard (chairman), H. Walden (treasurer), A. Murray (secretary), R. W. Tate, H. Wall, W. Brunton, J. J. Kimpton, H. Humphries, and A. Spiro. DALEFIELD. The election of a Committee for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —Messrs M. T. West, H. Knowles, ■G. Gordon, H. Hodder, C. Sayer, W. Hart, and F. Smith. Mr G. Gordon was elected chairman, and Mr H. Knowles secretary. PARKVALE. The following committee was elected:—Messrs Matson (chairman and secretary), Bayliss, Burgess, Lorenzen, Burling, Rayner, Attree. CARTERTON. The following Jwere"elected a Committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs .A. Armstrong, D. Reid, J. Nicholls, Geo. Canton, A. F. Wilson, H. Wilson, John Brown, J. Callister and Gordon Hughan. I BELVEDERE. The following were elected members of the School Committee:— Messrs A. Adams, G. Stevens, A. Petersen* J. Stevens, H. W. Kempton, E. Williams, and H. McPhee. Mr S| H. W. Kempton was elected ■chairman and Mr E. Williams secretary.
