THE BLANCHE ARRAL CONCERT.
Madame Blanche Arral, the famous Parisian songbird, who is announced in the advertising columns to appear at the Masterton Town Hall on Mon r day evening next, is an artiste with a great European and American reputation. The concert will take the form of operatic recitals, and Madame Arral will sing some of the best known arias from the greatest composers. A contemporary writes of Madame Arral as follows —"As an interpreter of coloratura arias she has no rival, and in addition to a beautiful voice she possesses a charm on the concert platform seldom found in vocalists. Madame Arral, as an operatic soprano, has charmed audiences in four continents, and whereever she has given recitals in the colonies both the press and public have been most enthusiastic in their praise." Madame Arral will be supported by Herr G. Paans. the eminent violinist, and Signor Torzillo, the celebrated harpist, who, in addition to accompanying Madame Arral in her various numbers, will perform selections of standard music by the greatest composers. The box plan will open, at Miss Rive's, on Thursday morning. _______
