CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I notice correspondence in your issue of to-day drawing attention to the ability,Jcharacter, etc., of some of the new candidates for municipal honours. Being an old resident of Masterton myself, I Jam very pleased to see an old and much esteemed resident among the new candidates. I refer to Mr E. G. Williams. He has always taken an active part in local affairs and municipal matters, in which he is particularly well versed. Being- a gentleman of strong and independent force of character, the ratepayers can rely on him to study their interests to the best of his ability without fear or favour. —-I am, etc., RATEPAYER. Masterton, April 19th, 1907.
